Last night I was upgrading my system. But during upgradation of Microsoft live. I was getting hr:0x80070643 problem. The Error said it's Network problem in C:\Windows\Installer\messanger.msi Even it's not uninstalling through Add and Remove Program. There is many ways to solve this problem like manually deleting/altering the windows live software and change the registry of it.
But the easiest way to solve this problem is:
1. Download latest Windows Installer (sometimes it may corrupt so need a fresh copy).
2. Search messanger.msi is in C:\Windows\Installer folder or not.
3. If there is no messenger.msi, Search messenger.msi through "SEARCH".
You may find it in some folder inside "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows Live".
See clearly which one is the latest messenger.msi; Copy it from here to C:\Windows\Installer.
4. Disable Firewall for a moment.
5. Double click on Messanger.msi inside C:\Windows\Installer. It initializes some processes.
6. Now restart the system keeping firewall off.
7. Now download the fresh copy of "Windows Live Essential" from http://download.live.com and Install it.
"IN MY CASE IT WORKED"
8. Now enable the firewall.
